Two years after, now in Mumbai, we were looking for a place to have lunch and lo... I see a New Yorkers here.. So we go in and the menu although small, seems to have everything from Mexican to Italian to Lebanese.. I havent tasted other Cuisines apart from the odd sizzler now and then.. (By the way I am still confused as to which cuisine to fit in Sizzlers)..
I ordered a paneer burrito for myself while my friends ordered lasagne supreme and an echilado.. Although name sounds quite sexy, believe me the food isnt.. Atleast i didnt like the food.. It was just beans (specifically rajma) and lots of cheese and ketchup and spruced onions in it.. The Burrito that i had was nothing more than a paneer roll.. In the end we found we had nothing but still had to empty our pockets to pay the check..
At the end, i found where my real taste lies, and that is in asli indian khana.. All the different cuisines and the fancy names that they have doesnt really suit my appetite.. I am better off liking what i love to eat, than to falsely approve of a food that others love to flaunt..
