At times, i believe my laid back attitude does come in handy.. I am not the type who takes decisions on a whim.. Atleast not the more critical decisions.. So after pondering through things and sieving the important ones from the not so important ones, i am able to think clearly.. Maybe this is what leadership calls for.. Who knows, every leader has his own definition of what leadership is all about.. I just want to make sure that my batchmates do not get affected because of my poor decision making and am definitely ready to own up for any decision that we as a council might take.. At this i am being very selfish for the future of my batch.. I dont feel bad at looking only at the short term for making decisions.. In fact looking at our history, i guess that is a more sensible decision.. Let us wait and watch how things unfold.. Tomorrow is a new day..

Walking on the precipice!!
Its another day and another problem to confront us.. Time to wear our thinking caps and start brainstorming.. Whenever I see the work thinking cap, Edward de Bono's 'Six thinking hats' comes to mind.. Although i have never read that, sumhow it just creeps into my mind.. So it was this latest issue which is keeping us all occupied in our offices.. Every now and then we keep following the discussion of the batch and see where it is heading to.. After reading about the rise and fall of Long term capital management, i believe there is an opportunity here too to bet whether the opinions of our batch-mates will converge or not.. The only thing lacking to this bet is a counter-party..
